Code of Conduct for Online Classes

Students are encouraged to read and adhere to the following code of conduct for online classrooms. Shikho authorities reserve the right to take appropriate action if these rules are violated.

Code of Conduct for Online Classes:

Respectful behavior toward other students, teachers, and class staff in the online classroom is strictly expected.
The assigned teacher will monitor your attendance in every class. Students are requested to join a few minutes before the class begins.
The course will proceed according to the pre-scheduled routine. Therefore, attending every class and utilizing time efficiently is crucial. Attendance will be reviewed regularly. Missing more than 50% of classes in a quarter (3 months) without a valid reason is strongly discouraged.
Attendance in the orientation class of every course is mandatory as it provides a comprehensive overview of the entire program.
Students must respect the overall activities and values of fellow students and members of Team Shikho.
Mobile phones must be kept on silent during class.
Teachers will keep students muted during lectures. Microphones can be unmuted to ask questions only when necessary by using the "raise hand" option with the teacher's permission at designated times.
Disrupting other students' concentration is strictly prohibited. Sending inappropriate messages to peers, speaking or writing disrespectfully to teachers or students, or engaging in any inappropriate behavior will result in two warnings from the teacher and Shikho authorities. Upon the third instance, authorities reserve the right to expel the student from the class and course. Note that course payments are non-refundable in such cases.
Class-specific Facebook groups will be available to support students, where they can ask post-class questions and initiate lesson-related discussions.
